The MK46 also has a fantastic centerspeed of 1700. Only the L86 LSW is more accurate than the MK46.
The MK46's recoil profile has some of the lowest vertical recoil out of all LMGs, and the MK46 has lighter horizontal recoil than the average LMG too. That being said, the MK46 actually has one of the smallest recoil profiles of all LMGs, with recoil values of 60 to the left, 60 to the right, 50 upwards, and 30 downwards. The MK46's iron sights are pretty obstructive of the user's point of aim, with the MK46 also having very heavy gunkick. The MK46 possesses a great damage output as a result when compared to other LMGs. This rate of fire beats all other LMGs, most assault rifles, and even some SMGs, with it having the same rate of fire as the P90. The MK46 lays claim to the fastest rate of fire of all LMGs, firing at an impressive 857 RPM. The MK46 also has high penetration power, allowing it to retain much of its damage when shooting through surfaces. The MK46 has a two headshot kill range of about 37 meters, and both shots need to be headshots. This means that the MK46 will always be able to kill an opponent in 3 shots, and the MK46 is a one shot kill at all ranges in Hardcore game types.
The MK46 deals anywhere from 40 to 35 damage depending on the user's range. It is also mounted on the Assault Drone point streak with a unique 50-round belt.
The MK46 is available in a default class with both a Grip and a Red Dot Sight, but is unlocked for Create-a-Class once level 54 is reached. It also appears with a Foregrip in the mission " Dust to Dust", being used by Yuri, and also by Truck in " Scorched Earth". Its first usable appearance is in " Bag and Drag", where it can be found in a GIGN armory, and is also carried by friendly non-playable characters.
